This research examines the role of Farabi's "Utopia" model in the formation of the social trust system and focuses on the interpretation presented in the book "Al-Farabi and His School". The main goal is to criticize Neton's approach in explaining social trust from the perspective of Farabi's political thought and to identify its interpretative shortcomings against the standards of contemporary theories. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on qualitative content analysis of primary (Al-Farabi's works) and secondary (Neton's book and Islamic sources) sources. The findings show that Neton correctly highlights the connection of reason, ethics, and politics in Al-Farabi and describes the role of the virtuous lord in unity and cooperation, but is silent or ambiguous in explaining the practical mechanisms of social trust (such as discursive communication, collective legitimacy, and mutual trust between citizens). This shortcoming makes Neton's interpretation vulnerable to contemporary criticism. The conclusion emphasizes the need for a contemporary rereading of Al-Farabi to integrate traditional interpretations with sociological and Islamic approaches (such as cooperation and collective virtue) and to dynamically rebuild social trust in the utopia of Medina.
