This article comprehensively and systematically examines the process of indigenization of political concepts in the history of Islamic thought, relying on the philosophical approach of Abu Nasr al-Farabi and the jurisprudential approach of Mirza Nayini; because explaining how indigenous thought confronts external epistemological structures is considered a fundamental challenge. The main goal of this research is the methodological analysis of the rational and dynamic mechanisms that these two prominent thinkers have used to respond to the necessities of the time, eliminate epistemological gaps, and move beyond the dominant and sultanic systems of their era, and have redefined borrowed concepts (classical Greek philosophy and modern constitutional law) in the structure of Islamic knowledge. The method used is descriptive-analytical with a comparative approach and epistemological reading that examines the break from the translational approach and entering the field of theoretical appropriation and innovation. The results show that by creating a logical discourse and theoretical connection between the "prophet-philosopher" through explaining the connection between the applied intellect and the active intellect, Al-Farabi achieved the unity of religion and philosophy and initiated the civil understanding of the Islamic tradition. In contrast, Allama Nayini, with an ijtihadist and argument-based approach, explained modern concepts such as law, parliament, and separation of powers under rational principles such as the "rule of contiguity," the "necessity of the obligatory preamble," and the "ugliness of the disorder of the system," and by inventing jurisprudential metaphors such as "superiority over endowment" and "trust," he legitimized the constitutional state. The final achievement of the research suggests that rational indigenization in Islamic thought is a dynamic process of digestion, intervention, appropriation, and re-creation of meaning that enables a constructive dialogue between religion, philosophy, and modernity.
